This Was a First…

This season, we completed a project unlike any other in our history – and we loved it. IAA collaborated with the Kansas City Museum and Paolini Garment Company to design and manufacture socks inspired by the original leaded-glass casework in the Elizabethan Library at Corinthian Hall. Along with the leaded-glass bookcases and windows, the Library features rich, oak-paneled walls. It served as the private retreat of original estate owner and lumber baron, Robert A. Long, and is a fascinating piece of KC history.

You can find the socks in the “Pop-Up Haberdashery” at 800 Broadway in Downtown Kansas City’s historic Garment District. All proceeds will benefit the Kansas City Museum’s renovation and restoration.
