As founders of International Architects Atelier, celebrating our remarkable 35th anniversary as a dynamic husband and wife team, we can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude and inspiration as we look back on the incredible tapestry of our journey. Our hearts are filled with profound emotions and cherished memories that have shaped us into who we are today.

Throughout these three and a half decades, we’ve experienced moments of sheer joy and laughter that lifted our spirits, faced challenges and setbacks that tested our resolve, and encountered disappointments that taught us invaluable lessons. But through it all, one constant has been the unbreakable bond of love, trust, and respect that we share for each other.

Like many entrepreneurs, we began our journey as two dreamers, fueled by boundless optimism and an unyielding determination to make a difference. Our shared passion for exceptional design and unwavering love for architecture drove our decision to embark on this extraordinary adventure together. As newcomers to the Midwest with limited proficiency in English, we set out without a safety net, fully aware that failure was never an option.

Countless nights were spent in thoughtful contemplation, strategizing our way through challenges, but we also encountered delightful surprises that eased our anxieties and reinforced our belief in the power of perseverance.

Our journey has been a testament to the incredible strength that lies within us and the unwavering support of those who have believed in us from the beginning. We’ve celebrated numerous milestones alongside individuals who have cheered us on, offered us encouragement, and fueled our motivation. Even the skeptics who crossed our path served as a source of inspiration, driving us to prove that our dreams were worth pursuing.
