Welcome Autumn to the IAA team! After graduating from the University of Kansas by way of Minnesota, she’s excited to implement and grow sustainable practices inside the IAA office.
Where are you from? Twin Cities, Minnesota
School? University of Kansas
Which design trend or style do you most admire? I like modern designs as well as more industrial designs that focus on materials like wood, glass, brick, and metal paired with plenty of greenery.
What excites you about the future of architecture and design? I am excited that sustainable practices are becoming more widely accepted by the public which will allow architects to design in a way that is most beneficial to people and our planet.
What inspires you to create? I enjoy both the process of creating and getting to an end result that I am proud of. I find it fulfilling to solve problems and make ideas into reality.
Any hobbies? I enjoy spending time outside whether that is going on walks, kayaking, or hammocking. I also like to do puzzles, read, and paint.
What’s your favorite thing to do in Kansas City? I love going to new places in Kansas City since the area is still new to me. My favorite so far has been the dog bar, Bar K.
