KCI Parking Structure

IAA has been partnering with J.E. Dunn and BNIM on the new KCI Parking Structure as the Associate Architect on the project.

The project’s mission when designing the structure was to provide visitors with a pleasant experience, ease of wayfinding, clear access to multiple modes of public and private transportation, and future flexibility and adaptability. The parking facility will serve as the visitor’s first experience with the new KCI terminal.

A few other features of the garage are:

    • 6,300 parking spaces
  • Creates an architectural dialogue with the terminal building
  • Collaboration with local artists to express character of Kansas City and the Midwest throughout the site
  • EV charging stations, photovoltaic solar integration, concrete carbon reduction strategies and other high performing sustainability efforts
