If You Build It…

On Saturday, IAA principal, Elizabeth Amirahmadi and staffers, Erin Mumm and Erin Hylton attended the kickoff event for the 2016 Girl Scout Cookie Construction. Over the next several months, the IAA team, along with a participant from Hollis+Miller, will mentor a group of 14 Girl Scouts. They’ll work together towards a creative solution for a design constructed entirely from Girl Scout cookie boxes to be completed at the final build on March 5 at Crown Center. The primary purpose of the program is to teach young girls how to successfully work as a team, while also introducing them to professions within the design industry. During its monthly meetings, the group will work on its design, and participate in events and activities meant to teach the girls about what it’s like to be a creative professional. Good luck team!
